eSetup error

I like to set a second internet provider setting in my Revo.

When I tab the eSetup Icon the following message is displayed.

Program : eSetup
Reason code : kern-exec
Reason number : 3

What can I do to over come this.

Can I do e new installation of this software and where can I find it. Is it on the CD ?

Forget about eSetup, just go to "Control Panel > Internet" and tap New then enter all of the details in the appropriate tabs of the dialog box.

If you also want to set up new email settings, open the "Email" application and from the menus select "Tools > Add new account > Email" and, again, enter details in the various tabs of the dialog box. Just be careful to set it up so that when you send mail, you connect to the internet with the same ISP as the SMTP server you are using. You cannot connect to the internet with one ISP and use another ISP's outgoing mail server. Also ensure that one email configuration is set as default - this is the SMTP server which will be used for a send only mail session.

some of my programs seem corrupt becasue they do the same thing when i try to do an action in them. it gives the ame readson and code.

some of my programs seem corrupt becasue they do the same thing when i try to do an action in them. it gives the ame readson and code. If you have several programs giving this error, you must have some serious corruption which will certainly require a soft reset and may require a hard reset.

If you do need to hard reset, make sure you have an up to date backup first. However, restoring this after a reset may reintroduce the problem, in which case you will be unable to restore from backup and will have to copy files across individually making sure the problem isn't recreated.
