audiovox gprs ipaq 3950 on O2

hi iam having trouble setting up my audiovox with my pda, i have put in my standard sim card from my O2 mobile phone, iam trying to connect to the internet with the pda, it says connecting and then just stops when it shud say connected, do i have to subscribe for mobile web ?? if so can i do it online ?? if i dont have to can some1 tell me the settings i have to put into the GPRS config program ?? cheers John

Hiya, have you definately registered to use the APN mobile.o2.co.uk, that's what you need to be able to use the web? Which Ipaq are you using? Is it the Audiovox tri-band GPRS CF card you're using? I've used one of those on Fujitsu Pocket Loox and it worked. I agree that O2 can be spectacularly unhelpful! Have you spoken to the Data support people on 0845 600 6886 to check the APN etc? If you can give me a bit more detail I'll try and help you. I work with O2 XDAs but we used to have Ipaqs so I might be able to help... Jackie
