I am running a win2k pro machine with activesync 3.5.
When my PPC 2002 Ipaq is connected via the cradle everything is OK.
I have set up a direct RAS dial in to the machine to allow me to sync remotely.
When I dial in the iPaq connects fine but activesync only sees it as "Guest".
If I disable the desktop machines NIC and then dial in active sync behaves properly and syncs as you would expect.
Can anyone explain what is going on here.
