Wi-Fi card that also has drivers for desktop (Win 98)? I gave up trying to get NetGear MA701 to work on Win 98 (but it works for another poster here for his/her XP). I tried a cheap CompUSA PCMCIA card today, boy, wasted whole afternoon, I should have known cheap stuff never works.

So, I am looking for a CF Wi-Fi B card that also works with Win 98, this way, I can at least use it when I get another PocketPC, hopefully a .NET one.

This CF Wireless 802.11b Card from SanDisk works on your PDA as well as your laptop:

However, I own a iPAQ 3835 and just purchased a CF Wireless 802.11b Card from D-Link for $39.95 (after rebate). It was a great deal and works great!

If you're looking for the PDA & Laptop solution, the SanDisk will work out best.

Hope that helps!

I bought the NetGear card for 79.99 + tax. Have I known that SanDisk card is only $85, I could have gotten it instead.
