Took the plunge and signed up for Sprint PCS and got the CF Connection card. Loaded program, but it won't fire up. It shows on the top menu bar, but the screen blinks and it goes away. The program will not open.
I loaded it on a Toshiba unit I have and it works perfect. Anybody know of any conflict between Axim and Sprint?
Thought it might be the ROM upgrade, so I loaded A03. Still won't open. Any ideas???

I got the pcs vision card to for my axim and it works perfectly, i had no problems with it. Oh yeh, i dunno if u knew this, but u need a head set in order to make calls, u can't use the speaker of the mic on the axim itself, it has a problem with receiving calls, wont let u pick up a call if someone calls. Other then that, it works great.

Any news from anyone getting a new Dell PDA and have the Sprint CF2031 Compact Flash Wireless adapter working? I bought both new just a few days ago and have had no luck. It says to insert card when in fact it is in. I have tried it with the battery and without the battery. It works fine in my laptop, just not my Dell PDA. It would seem that the top contour might be keeping the card from going in all the way maybe? Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen other people on forums like these that seem to have no problem with the Sprint card in their Dell. For whatever reason mine won't work so I'm taking it back. You have 14 days to return and get your money back from Sprint.
It worked well in my Toshiba and the data speeds were actually pretty good, but I need it for my Dell.

make sure to check connections settings, (work, work, the internet) and delete any manual or dial-up connections that you created under the work settings. though some pda, card wll work w/o battery pack, with the axim you will always need the battery pack. before inserting card, make sure to press the button on the right side of the card until light indicator turns red to trigger the card`s power. i will post more info about axim/yiso as soon as possible. sprintpcs does not fully support axim for now but the friendly specialists over there will always try to assist you with the basic troubleshooting to get your card up and running. try the basic troubleshooting above, it works most of the time. the basic troubleshooting that i posted are just suggestions, it will not guarantee to fix your problem. try it at your on risk. goodluck!
