How are conduits handled?

My memo pad conduit disappeared from Hotsynch.
Should I just reload Desktop?
I have avoided that, so I don't have to reload other apps, and may just need to bite the bullet.
I need a resource that lets me know how conduits are installed and removed and where they are stored.
Any tips here?

I had the same problem. My date book disappeared from the conduit list. I had been playing around with some freeware, and shareware date programs. I got rid of them off the palm, then removed, and reinstalled the palm software on my computer, and the date book was back in the conduit list. Before you do anything, wait for other replies because I am sure I went the long route. There should be an easy way. I am new at this. I am using datebk5 now with no problems.
