Hi all!
I am a bit confused about Wifi. What is it that I am able to do by paying no money and going to a hotspot? Can I access aol or my work exchange server?

it's access to the net. Under most situations, you would have access to anthing your computer would have at home.

Otherwise you'll get zip, if you don't pay for WiFi access.

Thanks, some other questions:
Where is the best list of free hotspots?
Are the freespots growing or will most of the growth be in paid spots?
How close do you have to be to the hotspot?
What are the options in terms of paid hotspots?
What does having a wifi hotspot network at home get me, since I don't need internet access for the palm at home?
What do ask my IT department about connecting to their exchange server?

You can search for hotspots at this site. Many of them are not free.
