Correct me if I'm wrong, but......
To my computer programming illiterate brain, hasn't the vast majority of work been done to get EPOC to operate on a PC using the emulator?
If the answer is yes, then would it be possible with the collective brains/computing programming power available through the readership of these boards for the emulator to be brought up to date/rewritten?
Couldn't the task be project managed and taken on Linux-style where everybody contributes? This would involve someone/a steering group making themselves responsible for co-ordinating the efforts to avoid duplication, and also to negotiate with Psion/Teklogix to allow it to be done?
Can't you just tell I'm doing a Project Mananagement module on my course to come up with this idea? (BSc Disaster Studies @ Coventry University!)
I'd be interested to know others thoughts.
Please take part in the poll I've initiated to register your interest in this project.
Kind regards,
Gary Jenkinson
