TC card slot

I have my TC being delivered tomorrow - anyone know of an adaptor so I can use a cf card with it?

SD slots only take SD cards. Don't know of any adapters (in fact wouldn't make sense, as CF is much larger than SD and would stick out of device).

There ARE CF reader cards that can take SD, MS, and SM to allow them to be read on CF devices. See bottom of page at: http://www.handera.com/solutions/acc_exp_cf.asp

I suggest you just buy a SD card to replace the CF.

There might be sleeves for T|C that allow CF usage, but I'm not aware of any (only seen these for PPC).

There appears to now be a sled for devices with Universal Connector (includes T|C). The sled can take PCMCIA cards and there ARE PCMCIA CF adaptors (but don't know if they would work with this sled). This sled IS expensive ($170), and adds bulk to your device.

The CF card should work. On the list of tested cards, there is a CF barcode scanner listed. However, I don't know if memory cards will work. It seems all supported cards on the list are communication related cards.
