Does any one know if & when Palm are going to release OS5 drivers for the Palm bluetooth card? I love my tungstenC, but having to get my mobile phone out & line up the IR port every time I want to send an e-mail (not much WiFi yet where I live) is a pain in the ****!

Hi
I have had various conversations with palm about the bluetooth and they say that it is all only rumours at the moment, but they told me that the mobile phone wont work either. In the preferences I don't get the option to pick a phone. Would you please be so kind and tell me how you did it?
Thanks

I just set up a connection called Ericsson (I have an R520m) to connect to "Modem" via "Infrared" & it works fine. Bluetooth would be so much better though!

Have we given up on any hope of Palm ever producing any drivers for the bluetooth card

I don't know really. They probably will, but it will probably be a whole new release and we'll all have to buy new bluetooth cards.
It doesn't seem to make much sense that they are pushing this for the corporate sector and not supply bluetooth, as here in England there are no WIFI hot spots. But it is not uncommon when hardware is developed it only has America and Japan in mind.
