Activesync connection

Just purchased my first PDA. After a month of searching I decided on the ipaq 3850 - it is a great product.

When I try to connect it to my computer using ActiveSync, it will not connect unless I am on-line. I can't seem to find the option to allow it to connect while off-line. Can anyone help?

Also, any good sites where I can get some free games for my ipaq?

It should alow you to connect no matter if you are on-line or not. But try going into the activesync options, click the rules tab, and then in the "pass through" section change it to "work". Also make sure the server options are disabled, both on the desktop and on the iPAQ.

For games, try pdagold.com, pocketgear.com, or search google.
