Screem Resolution?????

Hi.
Sorry for my poor english.
Why , the sreem resolution of Zire 71(320X320) is the same of Palm V(160X160)?
Is Four vertical icons X trhee horizontal.
Why.
I can change this??

First, it's "screen resolution." :)

Take a look at the resolution of the icons, themselves.

You'll find that at 160x160, the icons have a maximum element resolution of 10x10, while at 320x320, the icons are 20x20.

While the Palm launcher only allows an icon placement of 3x4, some launchers allow you to place more icons on the screen, as do the 320x480 Sony Clies.

Well, you can't change the size of the icons from what I can gather. However, you can choose to display the application icons either as "Icon" or "List".

When viewing the icons in the applications launcher, select Menu and then Options / Preferences. Change the "View By:" option to List. There is a maximum of 22 applications on the screen at one time with small icons in "List" view and 12 with "Icon" view.

You're absolutely correct. But, if you want only icons, you're stuck with the 3x4 format.

By the way, a correction to my previous post...High resolution icons are 20x18, while low resolution icons are 10x9.
