In spite of Beaming being set to ON, my new Pam M515 will neither beam or receive. Palm support have suggested a Hard Reset. I have not checked yet if this works.
Are there any add-ons that could cause the problem?

I have found that any speed modifying or "overclocking" programs (I use Fast CPU) will effect the beaming capability. Any time I use beam, I have to deactivate F-CPU which involves a soft reset, but is well worth the extra effort. I normally keep my m515 set at 54 rather than the 33 normal setting and I only have one program that I have to exclude (a capability of F-CPU). Hope that helps.

Thanks for your suggestion; sorry about the delay, but I ended up with Palm replacing the unit. A 'clean' new Palm seemed to work, but now I have loaded all my extras I am having problems. It must be an application that is causing the problem.
There seems nothing for it but to eliminate them one at a time!! (I have no hacks installed)
Thanks anyway
