Hello,

I am wondering if there is a driver or utility available to make your PDA act like a usb storage device, like a USB Thumbdrive or something.

As at the moment, whenever i have to connect to another computer, i have to install ActiveSync,

But having a program in the ipaq that simulates a USB drive, therefore requiring no installation on the computer, would be very helpful

Thanks in advance

Rick

Well if u connect it to computer with windows xp , windows will automatically find it and install driver to run it.

So when u go to my computer it should have a little picture of a handheld computer and you will br able to access it like that :)

But I would really recommend u to buy a usb drive

Here i found a 64mb one for $24

I agree with Manny.

With W XP it is no problem transfering files back and forth because W XP will detect the PDA as drive, but only if both users have XP.

ʹm not sure how it is with W ME and lower.

The best deal would be to get a USB storage stick for a few bucks if you just want to pass files back and forth.
