Microsoft Word does not run on the Palm operating system. There are, however, a number of pieces of software that allow you to work with Word documents on the Palm and coordinate with your desktop application. Some include:
1. Docs-To_Go, which should have been included in your M515 bundle.
2. Wordsmith (http://www.bluenomad.com)
3. Quickoffice
Personally, I prefer Wordsmith, although I have all three. This preference is within the "reasonable people disagree" level of consideration.
I don't think there is an option to buy an extra card with just Word on it.
Good Luck.

All of these products are software products that require a download. Most of Docs-To-Go can be installed on the SD card; I leave Wordsmith on the main Palm memory and move DTG to the card.
Space required is not trivial. For example:
Wordsmith - 542k
Thesaurus 288k
Spellsmith + data/dictionary: 1.2M
I suspect that I could, if I worked at it, get much of this moved to the Expansion card -- at least the dictionary and the thesaurus.

If you are convinced that you will be doing a lot of document creation on the Palm than perhaps you need one of the Big Boy Word apps. In the mean time let me offer this as an option till you decide how adept you are at writing on the Palm.
Write your next screen play in Memo. Memo is one of the basic Palm apps and each new memo has a size limit, you'll hit it if you are serious. When you are told that memo is full start a new memo "Page 2." Once you hot sync the Palm to the PC the Memos are there for the cutting and pasting. Take your screenplay to MS Word and do all the formatting you ever wanted to.
The Big Boy Word apps on the Palm are not only space consumers they are slow to open. I move back and forth in and out of apps on my palm using an app called CoLauncher. If I am in memo and need a figure from a spreadsheet I can be at the spreadsheet in a flash and then carry the copied numbers back to Memo equally as fast and paste them in. Does all of this mean I don't own one of the BIG apps? No, I own QuickWord, do I use it? Not nearly as much as I did when it was smaller and opened in a flash.
Just some mud in the water!

Docs2Go should be on your install disk. It is listed under "extra software" (or something like that).
I like WordSmith much better, esp. the interface to the PC and MS Word.

Excellent suggestion, especially while you are learning the Palm and what your needs and uses will be.
