STFW :p

I am not aware of a freeware 'Start Menu'. You may want to have a look at WinEPOC (search for this phrase using your favourite search engine), which tries to make EPOC (the OS on all Psion's since the 5) look like Windows. I have a feeling it has a recycle bin built in.

Personally I think that this is a pointless thing to do - why hobble a perfectly good OS with an awkward (if familiar) interface?

In terms of searching the web, add 'EPOC' to whatever phrase you search for to try and limit the search only to software that will run on your Revo.

I agree. I did try WinEPOC some time ago, just out of curiosity. I think it was my shortest shareware trial ever - 30 minutes and it was gone! Awkward is the right word, IMO. Also, I seem to recall it took almost 1Mb space, which is a lot out of the Revo's internal memory.

Anyhow, I do have the URL for anyone wanting to try it:

http://www.jssolutions.cz/shareware_e.htm

It's shareware and costs in the region of 20-25 USD to register. I don't recall there being a recycle bin, by the way, but I may be wrong.

STFW is a variation on RTFM.

S = search
W = web

I think you know what the other two letters stand for ;)

In the same way as RTFM, despite the profanity its a gentle nudge to suggest that a little research is warranted before posting a question on a forum.

Like Julie, I have used lots of odd ball things including WinEpoc and I keep coming back to the regular Psion stuff as its so easy to use and doesn't clog up you machine with programs you don't need. They sound good and when you use them for awhile, you wonder "why am I using this when the Original system is great and easy as is. There is a program called Recycle Bin, I can't find it right now, it might be by Alex Vorbauer at vorbauer.com. He has lots of programs like Switch On which has quite a few sort gages and information when you turn you machine on. I think that he might have done Recycle Bin.

Thanks,
