WAV Audio

Can anyone help out this thicky - I can get music from my CD's to the PC as WAV Audio - what and how is the best way to get them onto my 3970 without using up all my memory ?

The machine came with Media 8 and Media Player.

You can convert them to wma format using WMP on the desktop;

Or use 3rd part softwares to convert them to mp3 format and copy them to your ipaq;
