MikeMcC 09-20-2002, 03:15 AM We have had this discussion numerous times in the newsgroups and the keys do not fade, they cannot fade because they are laser etched. ....or so say Psion! In reality, users do find that, for whatever reason, the lettering on the keytops does become less clear, probably due to the etching becoming dirty, although it seems to be almost impossible to clean them. Has any other reader found a way to clean them? paul_leadbeater 09-20-2002, 03:38 AM Mike, Thanks to you for your reply. I'll try some cleaning of my own. Also thanks for the modem configuration data that I found on your Web site. Stocky 09-21-2002, 12:32 PM I lost (how, I don't know) the H key from my 5mx. I telephoned POS and spoke to one of their engineers. He said they sometimes get spare keyboards when they repair old units with new ones. He very kindly mailed me one, the whole keyboard! Gratis!! Now that's what I call service !!! Can't say they will do it again, but worth a phone call. www.posltd.co.uk Hope that's useful. Stocky MikeMcC 09-21-2002, 01:14 PM The URL should be: http://www.posltd.com paul_leadbeater 09-23-2002, 02:14 AM Thanks Stocky. I hope I get the same level of service. Paul. PDA Street
