1. Is the Palm Keyboard (Stowaway) compatible with the TT? The package states it is for the Palm 500 series but I've found that can include the TT (I bought a game card for Palm 500 series and it works on the TT).
2. Anybody compare the Stowaway to the Ultrathin? Which do you prefer? Thanks for the input.

I've used both quite a bit (in fact, I was a beta tester for the ultra thin about a year ago). The answer is obvious. The UT is smaller and lighter, but the user experience is not the same as the PPK, which is more like a regular keyboard.
They are both very good.

Having said that without answering the actual question you posed, I realize that I may sound like an advertisement. But it's just an honest testimonial.
I carry my Palm U-T keyboard around with me in my Scott-eVest pocket and it's, like, not there. I don't feel it and no one can sees it bulging out (because it doesn't bulge.) But I do get major wow factor when I whip it out and unfold.
My mom also has one with her Zire71 and she's incredibly thrilled. She has this little pouch thing that holds her PDA and keyboard and phone and the U-T's small form factor lets het little pouch stay little without her having to buy a bigger (more bulky and obvious) one.
There. Unabashed (and unendorsed) testimonial from an actual user. Not some shill whose acting career dried up in 1979.

you have to admit that the absence of a row of number keys is a bit of a bummer. During beta testing, I recommended that they associate a key with a pop up, on screen number pad, but they didn't add it to the driver. That would have made things a bit nicer. I do like the UT a whole lot, though.

Remember TT IS part of the M500 series (as well as the tungsten series). Look on the sticker on the back of your TT just below the Palm logo and Assembled in China, it reads 'm550'
