I've got an e310 running PocketPC 2002 and I see downloads for programs with these designations. What are they? Can they be used on the e310 with PPC2K2 or not? How about stuff written for CE? Thnx.

you can use stuff written for wince 1-3 as long as it's for arm. you will need extra dlls to run anything less than wince 3... mfcce211.dll, etc.

They are the different types of Pocket PC processors. Just like Windows can run on a Pentium, or a Celeron or an Athlon, Windows CE runs on one of these processors. Some programs will run on the CE operating system, others have processor dependant functions in them and need the device with that particular processor.

Just as a note. Pocket PC 2002 can only run on the Intel line of CPUs for handheld devices(IE: ARM and X-Scale)
Hope this helps
