I'm having trouble getting my Palm Vx to do a hotsnyc via the ir ports between it and my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. The laptop senses the IR of the Palm but can't get the hotsync to work. I have the Palm set to "IR to a PC/Handheld". The Palm just sets there trying to connect then says the connection between the Palm and laptop could not be established. I know the laptop IR wokrs as I can use it to transfer files between laptops. Any ideas?
