IR Hotsync with windows 2000

I would like to know if is it possible to Hotsync via the Infrared port of my laptop running windows 2000.

No. As you can see, no one replyed to this thread.
I heard somewhere that since win 2000 was released it´s impossible, but I want to be sure.
Now I upgraded to Windows XP but it should be pretty the same.

I´ve made it!

I changed to COM4 in hotsync setup (this was made while the palm was in sight of the ir port and the wireless link signal was on.

I had to adjust the speed connection both in the hotsync setup and connection setup in the palm.

Does your computer detects your palm (You should see the wireless link icon in the XP tray in lower right?
Do make this possible I had to change the IR driver in Win XP from fast infrared to standard infrared.

It all went well, even the Doc's to Go and Avantgo syncing, but prepare yourself to perform a long hotsync - the IR hotsync it´s awful slow!... If it supported the fast IR driver would be fine.
