Data from 3a to Series 5 (classic)

Does anyone have any advice for me on transferring my PSion 3a stuff into a Series 5, unfortunately the 3a has given up the ghost

Grateful for any tips (like why don't you post this in Series 5 forum..!)

Where is your "3a stuff"?

If your files are in a backup on the PC, some of them can be converted with the PsiWin 2.x "convert files" application.

If they are in the 3a which has "has given up the ghost", you have a problem. If they are on an SSD you might have a slightly smaller problem :)

Yes, are on the PC (reasonably current versions). I'll assume that the latest version of PsiWin is best for converting and start experimenting.

I'll assume that the latest version of PsiWin is best for converting and start experimenting. Might actually be better with PsiWin 2.3.1 unless you are using Win 2000 or XP in which case you have to use 2.3.3

I seem to think that 2.3.3 wasn't quite so clever with Series 3 files, but try with whichever version you already have.
