VELO 1 IR printer or serial

I am completely new to this forum. Am I in the right forum. I have been given a Phillips Velo 1 and cradle. It appears to have a IRD red square at the back. I can find no way to print directly with this or with what I assume is a serial output. Print does not appear in Word.
I want to print direct not via a PC

i beleive it is not used for printing...having owned a Velo 1 w/o a cradle, I learned that it was used for connecting via pc to sync...hope this helps...

I too tried to make a connection via the IR but it didn't work. The only solution is printing trough a PC
