Probably this has been discussed and answered before, but I was unable to find any information in this respect on the forum.
I am currently using both a Netbook and a 5mx. Because of work, I will be needing to heavily edit Spanish language documents on the Netbook. Short of getting the Spanish language ROM image for the netbook (if indeed there is one), is there a source for spellers that Word could recognize and that would let you switch from English to Spanish?
Thanks in advance,
Manuel

Manuel,
There are any number of Spanish dictionaries but no multilingual spellcheckers that I know of. The spellchecker is stored on the z drive in the \system\data\Lexicon.rsc folder. If it was possible to get the Spanish lexicon.rsc file from somewhere then you could install it on your c: or d: drive in a \system\data\Lexicon.rsc folder and use the macro Switch Dico to switch between the English and Spanish spellchecker.
There may be someone else out there that knows a source of the Spanish version of Lexicon.rsc that can help you out.

There may be someone else out there that knows a source of the Spanish version of Lexicon.rsc that can help you out The Revo's PsiWin 2.3.1 CD? Spell is not in the Revo's ROM, it is an optional install from the CD which has various language versions including Spanish. While the files are .SIS files, these can be manipultated with "nSIS" from www.neuon.com so it should be possible to extract the lexicon.rsc file.

Manuel/All,
Have a look at Huub Linthorst's website (http://website.leidenuniv.nl/~linthorsthjm/exabetal/index.html) and in particular his SpellX application. Pay particular attention to his cryptic comments about his son 'having a nose' for obtaining the dictionaries.
If still unclear, send me a PM and I'll explain in single syllables... ;)
Best regards,
Martin

Thanks for the quick response :D. I'll look for the SIS file in my wife's REVO CD. If it's not there, then I guess I'll have to ask the son of Spell X programmer.
Again, thanks for your very prompt assistance. I will let you know how it goes.
Best regards,
PDA Street
