Hello,

Does anyone know if a PCMCIA USB hub will work with an iPAQ with a PC card expansion sleeve?

One such USB hub is at:

No, it will not work with the ipaq. The ipaq pcmcia sleeve do not support 32 bit card bus.

Is there any other way to connect USB devices to the iPAQ? I know that the new Toshiba pocketpc's have the option, so I was wondering if it could be done with iPAQ.

Greetings;

AnswerDude the ipaq pcmcia sleeve WILL support 32 bit card bus. I use a D-link DWL-650 with my PCMCIA sleeve on the LAN at work. It doesn't work with the D-link driver I have a Compaq WL100 driver and it works fine. I can surf the internet and check my work email while on the floor. Check out this link to D-Links site and it says "System requirments: IBM compatible notebook with Cardbus Controller"

afarooki needs a driver for the USB hub and I have not found someone that has made one.

D-Link (http://www.dlink.com/products/wireless/dwl650/SpecsTable.htm)

D-link DWL-650 is NOT a cardbus pcmcia. D-link DFE-690TXD, for example, IS 32-bit Cardbus adapter, and cannot be used on the ipaq.

And to answer afarooki again, ipaq has no hardware to implement USB host.
