I've been reading lots of good things about Plucker. I installed it on my Palm and the documents provided with it look good. So I'd like to use it to read some websites off-line instead of AvantGo, which takes up much more memory on my device.

However, I can't (yet) get the hang of using the converter on my PC (Windows). There is so much manual set-up to be done, and the manual (yes I tried to read it) doesn't seem to get me there in a clear way - it all looks way too complicated.

So my question is: does anyone know where I can find a human-oriented, understandable description of the steps to follow to make it work?

Thanks!

Marc.

there is a command line version and a GUI version. The GUI version will pretty much walk you through it and do it all for you, however it grabs the whole page and that is not always desirable. you can use sitescooper to grab the parts of a website you want and it will call plucker itself (command line version only) but that also takes some work if you want your pages to come out nice looking (but well worth it imho).

so, you might have an easier time with the GUI, its at:
