ipaq memplug with sony memory stick

I bought the memplug expansion pack that has the compact flash slot on top and the sony memory stick slot on the side. I'm using an ipaq 3955 with a 64mb sony memory stick. Everytime I try to store or access files/info (e.g. mazingo files), my ipaq slows up really bad. Anyone else having this problem? I haven't tried out the compact flash slot yet.

I had the same problem- Try going to Word and Excel and go to TOOLS-- OPTIONS and under DISPLAY IN LIST VIEW choose POCKET WORD ONLY (do the same in excel). I dont know why this works but it does-- at least on mine...
