help!

Hi
I was recently was given a palm m515 from my mother, previously used. I have changed the owners name and put in all my addresses and stuff, but when i click on to hot sync her name still appears in the upper right corner. How do I change it to my name. And what exactly is the hot sync and how do I go about connecting it to my computer, and how do I set my palm to recieve my email??? I only have the palm and no owners manual or connecting wires, I had to go out and buy my own charger.

The Getting Started Guide will get you started. Read up, because the answers you seek are mostly in the manuals. Come back when you have other questions.

If you like the data stored on the 515 but want to change just the HotSync name, use a program called ChangeName. You can find it by doing a search at www.PalmBlvd.com or www.PalmGear.com Instructions on installing programs are also found in the manuals.

I forgot to mention that if you wanted to delete all data in RAM memory, do a Hard Reset. Addresses, appointments, HotSync name, passwords will be deleted. Only the basic Palm programs will be left, since they are not stored in RAM. It is an easy way to just start over.

Just be careful because if there are non-Palm programs there, they will be deleted too.
