New purchaser of a 3955. Tried to download and play a .avi file, and an MPEG file. Both files state that they are not associated with any program on my unit, "open the application and run this program to associate this program with the correct app". Have not found a way to open them in Media Player, or they are not shown in the files. Is this player supposed to be able to show MPEG, or do I have to DL and install another application to view video? Or is there an association program which I would need to run, to associate it with MP8?

Thank you for any suggestions!

PoccketPC windows media player will only play Windows Media audio and video (.wma, .asf, .asx,...), and MP3 audio.
For avi, try PocketDivx, it plays divx encoded avi

For mpeg, use Pockettv

Thanks "DUDE"! Tried Divx and could'nt get anything to play right. .AVI or MPEG, no video types would work. Saw the beggining frame, and when I pushed play it went black. Pocket PC, works great played an MPEG and was totally impressed. Did not think I would get that kind of video on my IPAQ.

Thanks Again!!
