I am considering purchasing a pocket PC. One of the main reasons is to load a windows based program on the Pocket PC for easy access on the road. Is it possible to load a windows based program onto a pocket PC? Do I need to find the "right" Pocket PC to do this? The program is a blackjack program used to teach a person the right way to play blackjack. The author of the program does not provide the program in any other format, other than windows base. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is no way to run win32 (windows based) programs on the pocketpc, pocketpc will only run programs specifically made for pocketpc OS. However there's an emulator that let you run some of the old DOS programs on it.

As for blackjack teaching tool for pocketpc , take a look at this site:

AnswerDude,
I checked with the author of the blackjack program and they do not offer the program in pocketpc OS. He will not release the program "code" to anyone in order to convert it to pocketpc OS. This program is unique and not listed on the link you provided...so, I want to purchase a small computer that can operate this windows program. I also want to listen to mp3's using this computer. The smaller the better, as I will be traveling with this. Any recommendations?

Your choices would be small laptop or Tablet PC, for more info on Tablet pc;
