I haven't backed up my Revo in absolute ages, owing to that I can't connect it to my G4, but I've resurrected my old powerbook to do backups after stupidly allowing the Revo's battery to die and losing everything. I'm getting this weird message I've never seen before:

"Could not back up the disk "Internal" (Internal), because the name already exists."

I removed all the old backups from the machine and trashed the PsiMac prefs, but I'm still getting the same message. As far as I know, it isn't possible to rename 'Internal'. Can anyone help?

This is on a-- wait for it Macintosh Powerbook 520 running OS 7.5.5.

Ah, OS7.5, those were the days...

Anywayse. I would try a soft reset of the Revo (or a hard reset if there's no data on there to lose). I've not used PsiMac so the only suggestion I've got on the Mac side is to try a de/reinstall?

Wasn't system 7 great? I have many fond memories of fiddling with Kaleidoscope...

Well, I wouldn't want to hard-reset the Revo; just got contacts back in there-- typed them all in again-- after losing them all. But I did reinstall Mac Connect, as you suggested, and now it's working. I thought I'd lost the disk! Something must have just got buggered up. Thanks!
