I've got a major problem, my Ipaq looks totally messed up.
As soon as I switch it on it behaves as if it's out of memory, running slowly, screen not reacting to stylus strokes at all, when it does react to the stylus it highlights a menu option or keyboard character nowhere near where the stylus was pointed.
Now and again it does perform normally but usually only for a few key strokes.
So far I have reinstalled 2002, restored from backup etc with no improvement.
What I think has happened is that my new USB synch/charg cable has somehow messed an area of the memory chip, too much current or something so if an item of software attempts to run in that area it can't.
Has anyone heard of this or seen this before as I am fast coming to the conclusion that my Ipaq is stuffed and I'm going to have to get one of those 400mhz Toshiba's,
