Toshiba GENIO, Toshiba E740,Sony Clie, or Ipaq?? Please reply!

I need to know which to buy the latest Toshiba E740, Toshiba Genio, Sony Clie, or the new? Or if u have any better solutions please let me know! THANKYOU

i have tried out the e740, the zaurus sl5500, and the ipaq 3950.
first off, the sharp zaurus doesn't qualify, it's not even a pocket pc. so unless you're a linux lover don't bother.

aside from that it is apparrent to me that the e740 and 3950 seem to be at the top of the food chain.

the e740 is more stylish and lighter and the intergrated 802.11b wireless is a definite plus.

the 3950 has more accessories because it is backwards compatible with the older 3800 ipaq. once you start adding on those expansion accessories it gets bulky and heavy.

both have identical processing power and memory.....

so i say go for the e740 nobody wants to carry a brick in their pocket, if that were the case just get a laptop.

I am pretty much sold on the toshiba e740 with wi fi. I just have a couple more questions. Does the one gig microdrive made by intell go on the inside or the expansion slot? How many expansion slots are on it? and what exactly is wi fi. I hope it is something that will sense my wireless network at home and also be able to hook up to my cell phone for mobile internet? I would also like to look at purchasing one for a dicounted price like you were saying, so if you have a website or something that would be great! THANK YOU!

to answer your questions:

it has two expansion slots built in, one for a compact flash card that is compatible with the microdrive. and one sd card slot.

the wifi refers to the 802.11b wireless network adapter that is built into the unit allowing seemless intergration into your wireless network regardless of which brand you are using.

i no longer sell on the web, just out of my shop here in little rock.
