Can anyone point me towards any texts that I could read to help me start learning about writing software that can address hardware on a PocketPC? I have an Axim X% and I'd like to figure out how (using C#) to write a program that expands upon the basic tools that my NIC utility offers.

I've already got the Smart Device framework and all. I can write programs for the PDA, I just don't know how to address hardware.
