e740 processor type

ok, i know the e740 has the xscale processor. now what kind of processor type should i look for? will ARM programs work with the e740? i figure it should since the xscale is basically an enhanced intel ARM processor...

Hi, yes most ARM software runs fine on the X-scale CPU. The processor in the e740 is a PXA250 which is the fastest of the X-scale to date. There is another model but I have yet to see it integrated into any devices.
