It all depends how you are going to connect your pocket PC to your mobile....

My recommendation (and in fact, what I use) is a Nokia 6310i.

It has Infrared connectivity, Bluetooth, and there is also a cable available to connect to a serial port which works like a modem cable. If purchased with a contract, they are quite reasonably priced as well.

You don't have to have GPRS - I don't. I use a dial-up account just to log back into the office and pick up my emails when I am on the road - and I can do some browsing as well... However, if you use your phone as a modem, you need to be aware that it only connects at 9600bps - 4 times slower than a mornal 56Kb modem.

GPRS is faster, and acts as an "Always-on" connection - but depending on how much use you get from it, may be a little expensive.

eeih...gotta sign up for some extras b4 my fone company will allow me to use... and i need a new fone!!!

anyway, my fone operator delievers speeds at 38kbps or something around there.
