I've also hit the ceiling on hotsyncing items to the Palm Desktop and have decided I want to switch to usiing Outlook for my calendar, addy book, etc. Does anyone know how to make the switch?

If you still have the CD that came with your handheld, I would uninstall your current Palm Desktop and then re-install using the CD -- only this time choose MS Outlook as your synchronization choice when you get to the appropriate prompt. If you have a Palm handheld, Palm includes a basic version of Chapura's PocketMirror software for this purpose. Sony provides IntelliSync Lite. Hope that helps.

Assuming you have a Palm device and you have the original Palm Install CD. Place the Cd in your drive whe0bn it auto loads "exit." Then use MyComputer or Windows Explorer to look at the folders and files on the CD. You should find a folder for PocketMirror or Chapura. Use the set or exe file for PocketMirror, PM, to start and load the Pocket Mirror software. The conduits will replace the Palm desktop conduits. You can switch back and forth if you should need to in the future.
