Ericsson R380 WAP Settings AT&T

Help Needed for WAP Settings for AT&T
I have an Ericsson R380 and I am on AT&T
I called them for the WAP settings for my phone and all they gave me was an IP Address.
It doesn't work.
Does anyone know how to set this up on my phone?

Do you have a dialup account set up on your phone?

Do you have data service enabled with your account?

The R380 will need to first connect to the Internet and then use an accessible WAP gateway (The IP address AT&T gave you might be all that is needed for this part) to access WAP pages.

AT&T might have settings required to connect to the Internet but you will likely need to talk to a technician that understands your problem. Or, if you have your own ISP that uses standard a PPP connection, you could use that.

I personally do not use AT&T but I have been successful with connecting my R380 using Cingular and Earthlink.

First things first, check your dial-up settings.
