Dummy SD Card

I purchased a T C and I noticed that the SD Card slot does not have a dummy card to protect the slot from dirt/debris.

I called Palm and they said they couldn't send me one - to buy it locally or return the unit and get another one.

Does anyone know where I could get one? I checked www.pdaparts.com but they will not budge on the standard shipping charge of $6.00 (dummy card cost $1.00!!!).

Anyone had this problem?

The T|C I purchased did not have a dummy card in it either. Perhaps Palm is not including them. Since I had an SD card to put in the slot, it did not bother me too much. As a general comment - if you have a unit that otherwise works well, I would be hesitant to return it just in the hopes of getting a dummy card - you may get a unit that has additional issues. Might be better to buy an inexpensive SD card instead if you are very worried about debris getting in the slot.
