This is really annoying. I hope the monitors of the group are watching and can stop this! This thread if for the Zire71. Has anyone gotten that annoying pop to stop? (see how easy it is to post a topic about the zire71) No more spam please!

I use pop-up stopper. I haven't seen any pop-ups.

In all reality, I have never seen pop-up ads on these boards, and I have been on here since the start. I believe you have some 3rd party software installed on your machine that is triggered when you visit certain sites. I seriously suggest you take care of this problem. Try http://www.lavasoft.de/ You can download a free version of AdAware to clean these files off your PC. But I assure you, that PalmBlvd does not use Popups. I hope you get this resolved. :)

Popups? You must be the one person still using Internet Explorer! ;)

All the "cool kids" are using alternatives browsers such as Opera and Mozilla, or IE-browser shells such as NetCaptor, Avant Browser, etc. All of them block popups.

I used Internet Explorer and I don't get any pop ups from this forum. Are mozilla that much better?

This post has nothing to do with pop-up ads. Yesterday, (dirtydog can confirm my story :) ) two people posted ads on this site that were not about the zire71. I was referring to those two posts. Since then, they have deleted them. Thanks to the monitors.
