Thanxs Felipe Traesel MikeMcC 06-23-2003, 05:28 PM If you want PsiWin 1.1 (the original Series 3 PsiWin) you can download a copy from the "Series 3" page of my website. Otherwise, PsiWin 2.3.3 can be downloaded from Psion's website at www.psion.com/downloads/pc/psiwin2/233/english.exe ftraesel 06-24-2003, 06:47 AM Does Psiwin 2.3.3 works as well as Psiwin 1.1 in series 3 ? MikeMcC 06-24-2003, 07:08 AM It depends what you are trying to do. PsiWin 1.1 will connect a Series 3 to the PC to let you transfer files and backup. Because it is now very old software, the file converters are not compatible with many of today's PC applications. It does, however, have the ability to open S3 Data files directly in the PC. PsiWin 2.3.3 should connect any Psion to the PC but I haven't tried a Series 3 or 3a - it certainly works with a Siena and 3c (using Win XP). As PsiWin 1.1 is an old Windows 3.1 program which doesn't fill the registry with junk, it can exist along with 2.3.3 on the same PC, so try it first to see if it does what you need and, if not, install 2.3.3 Note: PsiWin 1.1 is about 4MB to download, 2.3.3 is about 25MB. Conkers 06-25-2003, 05:31 AM PsiWin 2.3.3 will work with a S3 or an S3a, but the S3 isn't compatable with Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes. My colleague and I both use Psions for work and the S3 can be read but that's when we found out his S3 wasn't compatable with Lotus Notes. We find that the 3a works fine with 2.3.3. I also use PsiWin 1.1 mainly for printing documents from my 3a (Autoroute etc) (as recommended by Mike). I hope this helps you. ftraesel 06-25-2003, 08:51 AM Thank you very much for the information you sent. It was all I needed. Thank you all!! PDA Street
