I am having trouble with my hotsync, on a Tungsten T, with any computer that I use. The hotsync completes, but then during the clean up I get the error,

"DataMgr.c line 9524 Index Out of Range"

and I have to soft reset my palm. I have tried doing a hard reset and restoring from a backup on my cad and it still gives me the error after a hotsync.

Did you get an error the first time you synched after hard resetting? I'm guessing that a third party app is causing your problem. The thing is, you should prevent your apps from getting back into the handheld after you reset, so you can test a "clean" hotsync, and then start installing again. It'll require some effort, indeed, but sometimes it's the only way... :P

Of course, you must take care what apps are being reinstalled, Look at /Program files/Palm/**hotsyncID**/Backup and try to move some .pdb&.prc to another app and watch out reinstalling
