AOL -- Can someone help?

Hey Gang,

I just bought a Tungsten C and live in France. The version of Palm mail for AOL here is just version 2 and it will not work on my new Tungsten C. I have seen that some of you have bought version 3.1 form Handango & that you are pleased with it. Could you please take a look and see if there is a way to manually enter phone numbers so that I can enter the numbers that are used here in France? I don't want to buy it for $19.95 to find out I cannot use it. I have looked everywhere for a trial version and could not find one. I have no problem paying for the software if I am sure it will work. I will be using an IR connection with my cell phone.

I wrote Handango's tech service and they said that they did not handle tech service for that produst (AOL 3.1 that they sell) and that I would have to check with AOL. Of course they have never written back to me.

Please let me know if any of you can check that out for me and what you find out! It iwll be much appreciated.

Yes, 3.1 allows you to add locations and enter multiple access numbers for each location. It also works w/ wifi connections.

Thanks for you reply. I went on what you said and bought AOL3.1 and downloaded it and it does work. It does give me one error, it says it is trying to update but "could not find the numbers". I imagine it is looking for something here in France that it cannot find. After that error it works fine and I can get my mail.
