Hey everybody,
I had a question about the Wifi, versamail, and internet acess. Do I need to be at a Wifi hotspot to go on websites, or to check my e-mail, or can I do it anywhere, like from my own house? Its probably a stupid question, but I need an answer.

Yes, you can do it from your own home, assuming you have a wireless accesspoint. The convenience this provides is awesome!

Thanks for the reply.

I just had one more question... what exactly is a wireless access point? Thanks again.

Wait, Im confused. I thought I needed to be at a Wifi hotspot, such as a cafe or something. That really turned me off from buying one, but your saying that I can do it from anywhere? Because if I need to be at some hotspot every time I want to check my e-mail, I'm not going to do it.

A wireless access point is a piece of hardware that will transmit an internet connection wirelessly. Hotspots use wireless access points.

As lenage said, you do not need to be at a hotspot to use WiFi. You can it anywhere where there is a wireless access point. This includes your home if you install one there.
