Auto power off doesn't shut off

Whether the Prefs/Auto-off setting is on 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes, my Tungsten C doesn't always shut off. Hmmm... I haven't installed the new OS yet, however.

Anyone else having this problem or figured out a solution?

Palm told me it was not their OS, but probably related to some bad third-party software. I didn't really believe them, but they turned out to be right. Once I deleted a little utility called CradleSnd which plays a sound when the T|C is put in its cradle and automatically starts the hotsync process, the power off has worked fine!

So it's NOT a problem with Tungsten C's in general. Disregard.
