Hot Synch problems M515
Hi

Wonder if someone can help!!
I'm having problems performing a Hot Synch after having no problems for nearly a yeay.I'm using Windows XP on my PC.

My palm is connected to the PC through the USB port.

The first Hot synch of the day seems to go fine but with subsequent ones the plam refuses to hot synch.

I can seem to get over the problem by changing the USB port to which the palm is connected.This permits one furher hot synch and then it's back to square one till I switch ports again or restart my computer.Rather irritating!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Palm desktop software many times over!


Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem for quite awhile. It seemed to be an issue with the USB connector itself. What I would do is pull the USB connector in and out a few times and that would take care of the problem for a few weeks. This went for months until it suddenly stopped and it has been working fine now (I have no idea why?)
