Hello and thank you for reading my post. I have opened a new, SAFE, site which will sell new pocket pc software and utilities. I sell software and games that are like age of empires, battery pack 2003, and ect. for the pocket pc or now known as windows mobile all for 5.00 or less. I put a new software on my site every week. I need to see what software should i sell that you would buy. My site is located at www.pdaparadox.8k.com

Looking good, taht logo is a cheap flamingtext rip off :) Is the software your selling legal. I mean, did the authors sell it to you to sell or what?

Good idea - have someone proofread your text, though. I know, I know - who cares about spelling and grammar, right? The mistakes in capitalization, punctuation and possessives do discredit this very good site. No, I'm not a teacher - just an ad guy who makes many spelling, typo and grammatical mistakes.
Those are my thoughts - worth exactly what you paid for them!

hello thanks for the advise and no it is not illigal i ask the devolopers can i sell your products they say yes if you give 10 percent of the profit back to us or something like that. So what software should i add.

Nice site & idea Only negative comment I would have is that you need to get rid of the popups you gonna have to find some better webspace or pay for the upgrade.

1. No (and I don't think many others would)
2. Don't know
3. I could host it I have commercial space


If it's money your after then your treading a well trodden path. If you want to make money then follow the expample of the very sucessful sites they usually follow the following steps.

1 Start a site that is unique in what it offers

2 Make the site work well (If there are forums then the forums works etc.

3 Quickly build a very high hit count (This gets the advertisers interested)

4 Sell the site

You wont get the money before you have built up the site and the hits.
Unless you have some money behind you and a genuine interest in what your are providing then you will never get the site into the position to make it sellable.

Sorry if I sound a little harsh by the way I don't mean to just wanted to give you my thoughts. What I'm basically saying is that unless your prepared to put in lots of FREE time and somehow sort out the web space and other expenses then I (it's only my opinion) don't thiink you will get far with it. When you start saying words like "Pay" on websites it's a sure way to quickly reduce hit counts.

I didnt want to sell until imake some more hits any way. By the way what is the best web host server.
Would people be directed to my site if i changed my server to a non pop up site?
1. Would you come to my same site if it had the same content but it was moved to a non-pop up sub domain?
2.Would you you come to my site as it is?
3. Which one is better?

Nice site, good idea to build traffic before you sell software...Have you gotten into google yet? You should work on getting some backlinks, that will help with google and get you some traffic. Put your site name into your sig also...

whats a sig. and also i tried to get into google take 6 weeks i think and is a back link links on other peoples sites. Could you tell me how to check for back links.

your sig is your signature used on this and other forums, you will generate some traffic with it, normally you can put a url in using vb code like this Your Site title (http://yoursite.com). Good way to get some traffic to your site. Now for Google did you submit the url, I started to get spidered by Google, in about a week, make sure your site has a good title with a few keywords you want in it and some info in the top of your site with some keywords you would like people using google to find your site. Now Backlinks are links back to your site from other sites, email me at jrasmussen@rasputinj.com maybe we can swap links or something. There are also a great deal of PDA sites that will swap links with you, this will help with Google page ranking and with Traffic. Try also to submit your site to directories like ODP, Gimpsy, JoeAnt, this will also count as backlinks, and bring spiders and traffic to your site. Let me know if I can help you further..
