modem adaptor

I saw something advertised as the "Psion Modem Adaptor ma5". Any ideas as to what this is? Thanks.

There is a device called the "Psion PC Card Adaptor" which can be used with a 3c, S5, 5mx etc. and provides connection with PCMCIA modem cards. It has the same "Honda" connector as the PsiWin serial cable and plugs into the Psion's serial port, has a slot for the modem card and runs on 4-AA batteries or the Series 5 mains adaptor. I assume this is what you have seen, though I have no idea what the reference to "ma5" is.
