Contact List in ipaq 3975

I'm hoping someone may have an answer for what seems to be an easy thing compared to all the great things this PDA will do, I just haven't figured out how yet.

My question: When I'm adding a new contact directly into my ipaq, and I go to put in a phone number, it automatically puts in area code 425. Can that be changed, if so how?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can change it to whatever you would like, which most likely is you home area code. Go to the START menu and open CONTACTS. Pick on the TOOLS menu at the bottom of the screen and select OPTIONS. Enter the area code of your choice in the Area Code field and select OK. Now, when you enter a new contact, your new area code will automatically appear in the area code field.

Remember, though, as you pass through the various telephone number fields, the last area code used will be the default for the next. The default area code is just for convenience, in case you enter a 7 digit phone number.
